Happy 2012
2012 has come and gone so quickly. The little one wanted to stay up until midnight – and she did – but today she was tired.
So while she is sleeping I have time to think about last year, and this year, sommer all years.
Last year saw the passing of so many people around us. Family. Friends. People who shouldn’t have passed. Some we knew were coming, other unexpectedly. We will miss them all.
But I shouldn’t dwell on the past, there is so much to look forward to. The little one is going to grade 4, and she is entering pre-puberty complete with a few small pimples. And tons of attitude. So cute. And with all of that she is a lovely kid.
I am truly blessed, and looking forward to 2012. May you also have loved ones in your life who will make your journey worth while.
